Timoteo Villa is the New Virtual Mayor

San Luis de la Paz, Guanajuato. Monday, July 2, 2012. Timoteo Villa Ramirez, candidate of the coalition between the Institutional Revolutionary Party and the Green Party of Mexico, is the new virtual Mayor of San Luis de la Paz. He emerged victorious in the elections today, according to preliminary results of the Electoral Institute of the State of Guanajuato (IEEG).

After having counted 90% of the ballots, the number of votes favored him: PRI-PVEM had 16.442 votes, while his nearest follower: PAN had 10.922 votes. Official results will be announced by the IEEG in the coming hours.
