Schools Commemorate The World Book Day

San Luis de la Paz, Gto. Wednesday, April 18, 2012. With reading contests and other related activities, the schools of the municipality commemorated the World Book Day at the Matamoros Esplanade.  During the course of the day, kindergartens, elementary and high school institutions demonstrated with their participation the importance of reading to be an educated person.  The Ludovicense Cultural Center was the organizer of the significant event.

From 9:00 a.m., the celebrations of the World Book Day started.  In the evening, when we showed up at the Esplanade, there were fables representations by students and a story teller, reading contests and handing out of recognitions to the winners of the reading marathon.  The crowd, mostly children, enjoyed the entertaining program.  As a sign in one of the exhibitions expressed: "Reading is culture”.
