La Paz Institute Lives Friday of Sorrows

San Luis de la Paz, Gto. Friday, March 30, 2012.  La Paz Institute lived devoutly Friday of Sorrows.  In the evening, the students installed a commemorating altar in front of the atrial arc of the San Luis Rey Parish.  They explained the meaning of each one of the elements of the religious stand.  Also they sang a hymn of praise to the Lord.  Finally, they gave chia, orchata and jamaica water to the public, as is usual in this date.

Their altar was decorated with white and maroon (the representative color of lent) fabrics, paper, flowers, a Sorrows Virgin and a Christ.  The sawdust carpet had images of the Sacred Heart, the same Sorrows Virgin, and the name and logo of the school.  La Paz Institute belongs to the congregation of the minimal nuns.
