Children Parade for Spring and Water
San Luis de la Paz, Gto. Wednesday, 21 March 2012. The local kindergartens paraded this morning in honor of the First Day of Spring and the World Water Day. From the Bus Depot to the Main Garden, the children disguised as animals and other cartoon characters, celebrated the arrival of the station of the flowers and the rational use of the vital fluid. A little over an hour lasted the colorful carnival.
The parade began at 9:00 a.m. at the Bus Station, at the time that the civic ceremony in memory of Benito Juarez was about to end at the Matamoros Esplanade. From rabbits to fairies and mojigangas, we saw wandering through the main streets of San Luis.
Some floats alluding to this season also participated. The Honorable City Council received them gladly in the floor level of the City Hall. From the sidewalks, hundreds of people enjoyed the show. It was a fun journey.
