Schools of the Minimum Congregation March for Peace

San Luis de la Paz, Gto. Monday, March 5, 2012.  The schools of the Congregation of the Minimum Nuns (Gonzalo Tapia, San Francisco, and La Paz Institute) marched for peace this morning, from the Bus Depot to the Matamoros Esplanade.  Hundreds of students on motorcycle and on foot attended, carrying banners and blankets. Also a war band, flag color guards and three floats participated.  With this walk begins a week of activities of these educational institutions to ask for a harmonious life in our country.

At 8: 47 a.m., in the Bus Depot, began the march of the schools of the Congregation of the Minimum Daughters of Mary Immaculate.  A group of students on motorcycles opened the way to the legions.  The desire of the young people for a peaceful Mexico was tangible.  Nicely arranged floats paraded.  One was dedicated to Mother Theresa of Calcutta, another to the Pope, and one more to the Virgin Mary.

Nearly half an hour later, at 9: 14 a.m., the students arrived to the Matamoros Esplanade, where a crowning of a beautiful image of the Virgin was scheduled.  For the rest of the week, other activities are planned.  Among them, there will be a conference and a Holy Mass.  Our congratulations to the Minimum Nuns and their disciples, for promoting peace in these times of distress in Mexico.
