The Aguascalientes Brothers Charm with their Violins

San Luis de la Paz, Gto. Monday, April 23 2012. The Aguascalientes Brothers and their International Violins charmed the Ludovicenses, at the closing of the celebrations for the 117th anniversary of the elevation to city of San Luis de la Paz.  After the solemn session carried out by the Honorable Town Assembly, the virtuosi musicians took us to ecstasy with beautiful Mexican and international melodies.  Like all the events of the three days of commemoration, this was organized by the Ludovicense Cultural Center.

The Aguascalientes Brothers, natives of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, have 35 years of successful artistic career.   Their rich repertoire includes popular music from different parts of the world.  They have performed in important venues in the United States, Mexico, Central America, South America and Europe. The group is composed of Daniel (violin), Jose Luis (violin), Gregorio (guitar), Mario (keyboards) and Daniel Jr. (bass).

In their presentation in front of City Hall, we were delighted with the following nice songs: Granada, The weddings of Luis Alonso, The impossible dream, a potpourri of Julio Iglesias, Hava nagila, a potpourri of Jose Alfredo Jimenez, As the years have passed, Alma Llanera, Eternal love, Zorba the Greek, Clock, One morning, Only once, My way, Roads of Guanajuato and Singing at the foot of your window.  Deservedly, they were recognized with a diploma by the Mayor Javier Becerra.
